I just got my first Rolex yesterday as my first luxury watch  ,i have first tried Cartier, and like the Francaise medium most, but i want the watch to be more versatile to match both my casual and more formal outlook. I think cartier may be not too suitable for casual look. Also sounds like owning the first watch in Rolex is a better investment choice. Then i researched online, seeing that GMT master ii, Submariner, daytona are all very popular choices for casual look....but still i want one which can match my formal look, and among all styles, i like the style with markers 3,6,9 the most. After checking with the Rolex Boutique sales, he said that black dial 369 will only come in Explorer 1 style in 39mm, but not typical oyster or air king style in 36mm. As i really want my watch comes in black dial with oyster bracelet...I decided to go for Explorer 1 in 39mm. Here are some of the unboxing photos and look on my hand~ thanks for letting me share:amuse:
