My first repair at Louis Vuitton. What a disaster.

I’m so upset right now. I had my mini pochette repaired that was 6 months old and I come back to pick it up looking worst than it was before. What should I do??? Help pls. Here is a comparison of my other mini pochette which does not look like that at all.

If you’re unhappy with the repair I say take it back to them. You did make me look at my pochette accessoires, which I took in to have my d-rings replaced in 2019. My leather tab is separated similarly to yours. I’m not sure what mine looked before I took it in, but my pochette accessoires is from 2010, so it is much older. Not sure it compares, since your piece is much more new and newly repaired. Hopefully they’ll address your concerns!

Take it back. Did they charge you for it or was it complimentary?
They were gonna charge me at first but when I bought a bag at the same time the SA decided to waive the fee for some reason. However they said to take it back in I’m not sure whether they will charge me this time. But I had it repaired the first time because my leather tab was fraying due to the separation.

Update. They made me pay for the repair this time. Not sure how to feel about it. I hope they do better this time. How would any of you feel if the initial repair was free in the first place?

I’m sorry this is happening to you.
I don’t understand why they are requiring you to pay for the additional repair when they never properly fixed it the first time around.
I know everyone is trying to do their best under the current circumstances of the pandemic; however, regardless if the item is USD400 or USD4000, they should have taken care of you as a client including all costs to resolve this issue and to maintain good customer service relationship with you.
ETA: or as others have suggested, they should go thru inventory and get you a non-defective one

That doesn't make sense. I find that I get different answers from different people, depending on who I talk to. This sounds ridiculous and I probably would have pushed back. Still push back if you can.

I am having a zipper replaced on my DE Pochette NM. A few of the zipper teeth just came off which was odd because the end metal bracket right beside the place where the teeth were on of the zipper is intact. I guess they weaken over time. In any case, I love everything about my pochette and never see them in production in this print anymore so am going for the zipper replacement. I hope they do a professional job. I still have the zipper pull looking bright and beautiful. I wish the zipper could stay intact and just replace those teeth to avoid fear of a botched sew job but that isn't realistic.

I hope you have a better experience than I do! :)
