The thing about getting something preloved for me personally, is that I only have a small selection of bags in mind and I even know what colour I want them in. The only other possible ”options” would be the leather types that can turn up. So to my surprise, one of my Holy Grail bags turned up this week on Ebay. It was listed as new without tags and in pretty good looking condition. I messaged the seller several times with questions. I already knew a bit about this bag so I was relatively confident about buying. Well it’s turned up today and I’m so pleased. Kudos to the seller who packed it up really well, answered questions promptly and gave good detail on the listing, a good seller. It definitely looks and smells like it’s only been through storage, everything is immaculate. The only wear is that the leather has dried a little from just being stored all these years without use. So it’s a good rub-a-dub with the leather cream and a spray of the Carbon Lite. The bag cover has just gone through a delicate wash. And now I feel like part of the preloved crew! Best of all, I feel so pleased I finally got one off my “I Really Want” list and at a fraction of the cost! It only took me 7 years and now my small one has a bigger sister!

She’s so beautiful, such a stunning bag! The white really pops out. Congratulations on finding her. And good for you for not giving up during the seven years, it certainly was a long wait but well worth it.

I’m completely surprised to be honest. But I think it was on this forum somewhere about 6 years ago that I read that if one watches the markets close enough, there’s always one that you like that comes out of someone’s cupboard, unused and pretty much in excellent condition for sale. Guess that comment came true this time!
