These may not seem to daring, but I was attempting to be (somewhat) practical in my initial purchase. With my first office job, I thought how better to celebrate than with a new pair of "work" shoes. 
I've read enough about Cl's to know longevity comes with adding Vibram, so I did that too. Perhaps I'll go a little more out of the box on my next pair!
