Here are the first Hold mes I got! What attracted me to BE was a feature in a magazine with four colourful Hold mes...check the last picture with the Tan matte (thick tan), the Fuchsia sheen, Yellow pebbled and the Apple Green matte.. I loved them!! I was about to buy a similar model in Hermes, but the colours of the BE bags were much nicer :smile1:
Later I recieved the ones with the strap as an option..this was in the days when BE bespokes were made through e-mails, and not a feature on the website! It was so fun to discuss leathers etc...BE had just recieved the Red and Silver lining, later the Pink came, so for some time these were the only choises together with the Fuchsia.

I take my non-handle lined never used BEs out once in while..stuff them to get the storage fold out........and put them back into the closet again..:D

I currently have four non-handle-lined Hold me in rotation (Tan matte, Purple crash, Pewter and the Choco matte)..especially the Choco is my special bag for items for my dogs, when going anywhere. This leather is real hard and durable!

Ha Bonnie! You must have seen the same picture I did. I saw it in the Red magazine. I didn't buy a Hold Me as my first bag but rather got the Stroke Me Midi in petrol sheen but I did eventually get an old tan (thick) matte Hold Me. I also have a fuschia Hold Me that I got on a sample sale.

I use both bag to carry books to my courses. I tended not to use them as handbags until I worked out how to remove the stiffer base.

Exactly the same Picture I saw!:D

I do like the colourful leathers..only thing is that I am a neutral colour person when it comes to carry bags..lol! The Blacks, Browns and Greys are my chosen colours for everyday wear.

I agree ..the first type of bases were rather stiff..the newest ones are so soft and bendable..and not so sticking out, when one carries the Hold me on the shoulder. Luckily the base can be removed on the older models ..and while one watch a movie..well, almost:graucho:

Seeing your Hold Me collection is what drew me to get my first BE bag, and I still love all the Hold Me's that I have!

Thanks for posting this picture- it's great to see them again!

Love these pictures Bonnie...your rainbow of Hold Mes makes me swoon! :faint:

I only have two...one of which I need to bring out as it was one I snagged off the Bonz...

I have a neutral taupe / grey pebbled which was my last BEC, leather lined handles, and then I have a turquoise sheen one that I got pre-loved....

I love this style. I have a black crash and an aubergine. I bought my daughter the purple crash Hold Me and she loves it. I use my black crash Hold Me all the time it is my go to bag especially for the weekend.

Had I known that most of the BE leathers were so durable, I might have been less greedy..LOL! I think it's about time to take out a few of my Hold mes..and just use them! This model is very casual, and at the same time also very comfortable to wear..Guess it's time to break in the Yellow Mustard ;)
