I'm so excited! After hemming and hawing for months about this purchase, I finally took the plunge. I fell in love with the padlock bag style when it came out in the Tian print...but after doing a bag inventory, I decided I really needed a neutral more than something so colorful. I went to the boutique near me today to try on some different options and ended up leaving with the mini GG supreme padlock bag. The front and back panels are the GG coated canvas; the top flap, sides, and bottom are colorblock black and brown leather. I love the mixed neutrals because I feel like it'll go with anything! I also think it can be dressed up or down - I loved the way it looked with my jeans and sandals today, but I can see it pairing nicely with a cocktail dress or a going out outfit, as well.
Since I couldn't resist getting at least one little pop of color, I also picked up the GG blooms card case in blue/red leather. Swoon...so pretty! Perfect size for this bag.
I am quite impressed with the quality of the bag. It feels sturdy and well-made without feeling heavy (which was a fear of mine with all that hardware). Anyways, here is a reveal and some pics.
big bag & lil' bag:

I love the blooms packaging...I wish both items had come in it!

Here are some different views of the bag...
For a tiny bag, it holds a lot. I was able to fit my blooms card case, Coach zipped pouch for cash, lipstick, powder compact, keys, and my iPhone 6s (not pictured):
The bag can be worn 2 different ways - long chain with 20" drop (this length is a bit awkward on me as I'm tall, but could make a good crossbody for someone more petite), or doubled to form a short shoulder strap (I will most likely carry it this way most often). Sorry for the blurry photo...our bedroom has awful lighting. For reference I'm 5'8" and usually a size 2.
Hopefully this was helpful to anyone considering this bag! I absolutely love it!
