My first Gucci reveal - so happy!

Hi everyone,
I'm new to Gucci forum. Never had a Gucci bag but lately been wanting a Disco bag pretty bad.
So last week I was traveling in Sicily and decided to visit Outlet village in hope to get a Disco bag with a discount:graucho:
Unfortunately, when I got there all Disco bags were gone but I got this!
It was love at first sight and it helped that the price was right;)
Can you help me to identify this bag (name, season, color???) as I'm clueless about anything Gucci but would love to know:smile1:
Usually I'm Balenciaga, PS and Longchamp kind of girl so this little lovely is a big departure from what I usually like. But I love that it can be dressed up and dressed down.

Absolutely GGorgeous!!! Welcome to the BTH Club!

As discussed Gucci are phasing out the NEW BTHs with the tassels and reissuing the 1960s/1990s model again. In the Club we are all snapping up the last of the tassel models :p.

Yours looks like it was from the SS11 collection. I think I remember a Chalk and a Military Green colour with the light bamboo from the same time

I've already read that New BTHs are discontinued and I'm so happy I got one with the tassels. Actually I got one because I loved tassels so much :D Happy to be in the club!

Was SS11 the only season of light bamboo? My bag looks amazing for a 4 year old then. It looks, smells, feels totally new that's why I'm wondering. The lining is beige linen if it helps.
Can my color be mauve or antique rose?
It is the first impulse buy for me so I want to know it all:graucho:

Have a look through the BTH Club as whether the following Summer also had light bamboo but I think the light bamboo went with the Cruise 2011 and so was on sale throughout the Summer and onwards. Could of been a Cruise or Holiday combo that I can't remember, I have the catalogues somewhere....

TBH, these BTH went around different stores at different times because they didn't go on sale and there were not that many made. If one store didn't sell it in 6 months it would move to the next. There was a Holiday collection that had a silver with light bamboo in AW 2010/11.

Most BTHs have 'natural' coloured linen, only a few rare ones don't. It's certainly mauve ;)
