Hi everyone!
My husband recently bought me an early wedding anniversary gift. I was tossing between this Gucci bag or the LV Pochette Metis. I have tried both in the boutique, but for price point and which of the two I would get more use, it came down to this of course. This is my very first bag from Gucci, I have never found a bag from this brand that I really liked, until this came along and I knew I had to own it.

My husband bought it online at the Gucci website and it took a few days to arrive. I received it this afternoon and it came with a cream and black box and a shopping bag. I really like the new packaging and the colour choice is so timeless and classic. The dust bag is so soft and lovely too!

This is the Gucci Soho Disco Bag. I choose the colour rose beige, simply because I own many black bags and I needed a change of scenery. The photos are free of flash so it appears a little bit darker, but it is almost like a camel colour but with a blush undertone, for me anyways. I love the colour and so glad I picked this up!

its beautiful ! congrats to your new bag .... I have yet to see it IRL , as it s hard to hard in my one store... I was just worried about how long the strap is when I wear it crossbody.

Congratulations! How exciting!

I know what you mean,I didn't like any of their bags until I saw the disco! Of course now they keep designing more and more fun, uniques styles.
The photos are great:)

I'm curious...you mentioned they sent you a cream. Is it for your skin or the bags skin? Lol!

Oh I meant, the colour of the box is cream or off white, like the dust bag! hehehe, sorry for the confusion. :)

I actually, only tried the black one of this in the boutique and went on online reviews and youtube videos on the rose beige colour. So I was pretty much just going by what I saw. If I remember correctly, the SA at the boutique said they didn't have the rose beige one available in store, so hence I just tried on the black.

This colour is so lovely, I used it today to run some errands and its easy on the shoulders and the size is amazing. You can fit quite a lot of your everyday essentials. I wore a lighter coloured jeans today and so far no colour transfer! :D

Congrats! It is such a pretty bag that even my son loves to touch the pebbled texture. So I guess he has given me the seal of approval!!!
I wouldn't worry so much about colour transfer, as I mentioned to another lady, I used mine today and I wore a lighter blue denim jeans and no colour transfer. I read on another topic that you could use baby wipes to wipe off colour transfers, but its up to you, I guess.

It's an expensive bag, but it would be a pity if it spent all its time in its dust bag, instead of being carried and used around. I know I have to stop babying my designer bags, but like you its hard to not just think, "what about colour transfer?!" But then, just buy a cheap bag and use it.
Enjoy yours while you can and don't baby it too much either, you bought it to be used, right? :D
