I just took her out the box and found this marks/lines on the bottom part. It doesn't like scratches, but no lines in rest of the bottom box. Would you go back to the boutique to swap for another one or just keep it? Any thoughts? Thanks

Thank you all for the advise. I thought I was being too picky, but you are right, it's a $4100 + TAX purchase, it should be in pristine condition. I hope there will be another one available for exchange. :)

Hi, if its possible - I would exchange. I was about to purchase a Gabrielle bag in dark red a few weeks back when I have noticed the same mark on the bottom of the bag. Chanel SA referred to it as a “blemish“ on the leather and since it was the only bag left in the boutique, I was contemplating purchasing it. My concern was not so much the look of it (the bag was dark red ,hence ,barely noticeable) but the feel of it. It felt “raised”, almost “bunched up” like and I was worried the leather would start peeling. My lovely SA advised me that since it was a seasonal (not black) colour, it might be very challenging (if at all) to repair the bottom of the bag if the leather eventually does start to peel, so I ended up buying another bag.

May I know which one did you end up buying? I am also debating if I should get a mini flap but I can see myself wearing Gabby more than mini square. Thanks for your insights.

I would also get them to find me another one. It would not bother me if it’s on the main part of the bag but because the bottom part is supposed to be smooth, I would also vote for a swap. Good luck
