My First Dye Project....Reveal

Thanks for the kind words Dede and and Bal. At first, I thought...this is not going to be a successful dye project. But, I just just took my time... and I said what...the heck, I can always dye it over again black or even brown..but, I think the finish results are pretty good...for a first time dye.:tup:
 
nice job Butterfly! I too have been one of the adventurous gals who dye bags, and it is rewarding, isn't it?

Ladies, if you have a Tandy store near you, they carry a really nice line of leather dyes and stains called "Eco-Flo" that are eco-wise products that come in a lot of colors. I just got two older Tanos that needed freshing up, so I bought the same color dye as the bag and gave each one coat. Took about an hour and the bags look wonderful, like new. Don't hesitate - get some older, inexpensive bags and give it a try!
