i usually store mine in the dustbag with the straps tucked inside, but i've heard of wrapping a soft cloth around them.

Looks great! Congrats on your first chanel - I have no other suggestions other than what the gals have given already... I just store it in its dustbag with tissue in the layer where the strap touches the leather on my double flap (doesn't apply here though since yours is jumbo)
