my first Chanel please help me choose

Hello everyone!! i am about to make my first Chanel Purchase and i am torn on which style of leather i want. can you help!!!!??? my Buyer at Saks found me 2 maxi bags one is the classic black in caviar leather the other is the lambskin in teal. i LOVE the feel of the lambskin and LOVE that color but i have lil ones and i see the lambskin is more prone to scratches. i also hear that the lamb quilt has a tendancy to flatten out, even when stored in the bag and box? truth be told i always wanted a large black in the lambskin (a true classic) but no one can find one apparently so.... decision time....
anyone have good or bad experiences with either or both leathers?? i am open for any feedback/opinions and it is greatly appreciated!!

I would go with the Caviar. The leather will hold up a lot better than the lamb. In addition, since you want to purchase the Maxi, the caviar looks a lot better as a structure. With the lamb, you tend to get "wings" in the maxi shape.

How about a reissue? More durable than lambskin, but softer than caviar...

I would hold out and wait for lambskin if that's your first love. Maybe try waitilisting with a few SAs?

hold out and wait for the lambskin! It's sooo much softer and more elegant than the caviar in my humble opinion.
