Husband and I came into honeymoon in Thailand. Walked into Hermès store and husband bought several items. There was a Birkin on display and also a red Kelly. After buying several items the SA offered us the Birkin on display in which I immediately said yes, he said he also had a black one .. but I decided to go with this one because it’s the limited edition, however now I’m regretting for not getting just a simple black one instead. I’ve attached the bag photo, I’m new to Birkin and wasn’t expecting to be offered one so I had no clue what is popular color and if this color and design is popular?

The Birkin Tressage is special, not easily found. I agree with @Sofiko that whenever you look at this bag in the future, you will instantly remember this to be your anniversary bag. This is indeed a very special bag. Many congrats!
I wouldn’t say it is popular but it is lovely. I have seen one up close and the workmanship is very special indeed. Colour and style choices are very personal; for every person who loves black there is another one who would choose a pop of colour. For every person who would want something simple there is another one who would like yours. Don’t second guess your purchase especially if you can’t exchange it. It is a very special memory of your trip to Thailand and of your honeymoon. Congratulations!
