My find at outlet store: badlands 25

when I walked into the coach outlet store the week before Black Friday. I saw this bag was 65% off of the original retail pricr $895. It's not in a very good condition, have some scratches on it but l took it home with me anyway.
I have carried it for the last 2 weeks. I couldn't like it more! This is a very well designed bag, I don't understand why coach discontinue this bag shape.
I don't like the normal size of bandlands, because it's too bulky. But this 25 is just the right shape. Kind of like the LV speedy 25, but with much more features: The zip closure with a wide strap is secured and when you leave the zipper opened for quick access, the shoulder strap, the leather lining, a key holder strap inside, and the zip pocket outside.I like the zip pocket outside for quick access to my phone, much practical than Speedy. Love it!

It's very pretty! I love the surprise of patchwork on the ends. I thought the complaint about this bag was that the strap across the top made it difficult to access the opening. That's partly why I never considered it.

Amazingly this strap above the zip doesn't bother at all! I can simply leave the zip open and the strap is just like a cover for the openning. I don't need to loose the buckle at all, just lift the strap a little bit then I can access to the inside. I generally can't leave zip closur open for Boston bags, because I hate the insecurity when It's wide open, it's so obvious! But this one I can, and nobody would even know my bag is not closed.

I wanted to love this bag. I picked it up at the outlet last week, carried it around while I looked around. I even moved the contents of my tote right in the bag.
I couldn't make it work for me. But maybe I didn't give it a fair chance. After reading how you manage the wide strap across the zipper opening was enlightening.
If it's still there tomorrow I'll give it another try.

I think the coach outlet has the promotion of extra 25% off on over 250 dollar purchase, coupon code needed though. Definitely worth to buy. It's very roomie and practical. I hate open and close the zipper every time when grab things from bag, while this one doesn't have this problem.
the only reason I may not recommend it is that if you don't like hand carry bags. This is a satchel bag. The shoulder strap works for cross body, but considering the round shape of this bag, I'd rather only hand carry it, so I won't squeeze it over my body.

I still have this bag and still love it. even my husband (he knows nothing about purses) likes it. he has ranked all my Coach bags, and this bag gets the silver medal (the gold goes to my tea rose rogue, the same bag in my avatar)
