Hey guys! I'd like to share my experience at nana hospital. I think I found them through this forum and read quite some reviews on babitalk and gangnam Unni.

Online consult:
I reached out to them through whatsapp around October 2021 and I was helped by this very nice lady named Honey, she was quick with her replies and was straight to the point with the procedures i may need.
I booked a slot with de Kim hyung jun for in september and they honored the old prices before Korea opened up for international travel again.

Face to face consult:
I was greeted by honey at the reception desk and taken into one of the private rooms to talk about my expectations and wishes. Then the dr. Kim entered the room to check what needed to be done. Through whatsapp we agreed to do the following:
Double Incisional eyelid surgery
Fat grafting to the upper eyelids due to sunken eyelids
Rhinoplasty
Osteotomy

During the face to face consult 3 things had to be added: epicanthoplasty, septum piercing hole closing and hump removal which kicked up the price by about ~600-700 ish euro

The surgery:
Before the surgery I had a rundown through the terms and agreements, the doc came in to draw on my face and listen to my last few wishes and doubts.
I was not allowed to eat or drink for 8 hours before the surgery, unfortunately the previous patient came in 40 mins late so I had to wait an hour longer, I kinda got hangry at some point.
I was given clothes where I had to change into and wash my face before honey brought me to the surgery room. She held my hand the entire time while I was strapped up against the operation table and got my entire face and thigh for fat grafting desinfected and prepared for the surgery.
I was pretty zonked out during the surgery, but one thing I remembered clearly was how much it hurts to have local anesthesia inserted into my eyes lol, definitely be prepared for that. The doc also told me to open and close my eyes many times.
After that I was put to sleep without warning and then I woke up on a chair with a nice plush blanked. I felt surprisingly good so I could get up and leave within an hour less.
I will be posting daily updates about the healing.

Aside from that please don't ask me how much I paid for this, it was still the pricing from a year ago and the price is a lot higher now!

And I'd like to end my review with an obligatory English is not my first language, please don't mind the grammatical mistakes

I can post some pictures once the swelling goes down. My eyes are still extremely swollen since my surgery was 2 days ago
I have heard that Nana can be pretty cold towards foreigners and that they don't take care of clients since they're a bigger surgical clinic. Is that true? I'm looking to get DES because my monolids right now are very fat. I want to get ptosis correction as well as epicanthoplasty. What style were you looking to get?

And what made you choose Nana out of your pool of clinics? Hope your recovery these next days goes well!

Hi!
I haven't heard anything about them being cold to the foreign patients, however it is true the aftercare is rather minimal. I have two visits which is cotton removal, cleaning and antibiotics shot on the second day after surgery and then stitch removal and cleaning again on the 5th day.
Aside from that they gave me a care package with an icepack in it and some sheet masks + the usual meds.

If I recall correctly there is more aftercare service with things like BA and such. But for so far they are very responsive to my messages and ask how I'm doing everyday

And why I chose nana... Gut feeling? I browsed through the head doctor's work on babitalk and gangnam Unni and I liked his results. The contact with nana was pretty pleasant too

Did you hire a translator from Chinese to Korean? I am Chinese too and I have heard it is more expensive to hire English/Korean translator than Chinese/Korean. I also have Mongolian/epicanthal folds!

I don't speak Chinese unfortunately but Im told the Chinese to Korean ppl indeed do get better rates. If you can speak Chinese definitely go for that

can you explain more the eye style you got. Did you do A more conservative crease on your double eyelid? Tapered or parallel? And if it is a high crease or lower. It seems nanas work is mostly low creases on the natural side isn’t it? From what I seen on the reviews

I went for both? It's slightly tapered at the corner and it goes to parallel when it goes outside. I think I went for a medium crease, but it also depends on the style of each surgeon. Dr Kim is known for having more natural results. This was the reference I gave

General updates, the cottons got removed on the second day and the incision sites got cleaned, the cast got removed on the 7th day and I love the results for so far. The stitches were also taken out the same day and luckily it didn't hurt too bad except from the epicanthoplasty site. I got another antibiotics shot that day and they asked me to come back for a last checkup before I go back home again.
The doc seems very satisfied with the results too and so were my friends.
The side profile looks very natural but the front is still pretty swollen.
Honey still sends me messages once in a while asking how I'm doing. For so far they are really attentive and nice after surgery
