Its lovely!!! If you don't love it, set it as a solitaire with a shank that matches your wedding band.

Difficult to respond to your question not knowing what your tastes are. This is a very elaborate setting. Was it the look you were originally after?

Your center stone is gorgeous, but I feel like the hugely elaborate setting detracts from it, especially when it's also paired with your wedding band. On it's own the ring would maybe make a beautiful right hand ring. My vote would be to go with something simpler, especially since you seem like you aren't in love with it as it is. Maybe a halo with a band/shank the same size as your wedding band?

I actually do love it!! I tend to be drawn to big sparkle, but still somewhat understated! guess I am always second guessing myself and wonder if I should have let this diamond stand alone!

Your rings are beautiful. The good thing is you could always change the setting in the future if you want a different look. I should know I'm on my 3rd diamond center stone and my 3rd setting (for this stone).
