My previous ring setting was a round brilliant center stone with two pear side stones... see the photo below:

The pointed ends of the pears, together with the knife edge band, had been consistently hurting my adjacent fingers ever since i had put it on. Moreover, the E-ring just did not match my eternity wedding band correctly, causing a huge gap in between. With my fiance's consent, my e-ring was reset! We were able to pick it up right before we went for our xmas holiday!

The new setting includes a rounded band, 6-prong crown setting on the center stone, and two round sidestones.

here are the photos of the final product... i can't be happier !! :D

center stone :

GIA CERTIFIED
carat - 1.72ct
color - F
clarity - vvs2
cut - ex ex ex

side stones:

carat - 0.50 ctw
color - E and F
clarity - vvs1

ring size - euro 49, US 4 7/8

due to the triple ex cut and high color grade, this stone faces almost identical to a 2ct stone when compared side by side... i feel really lucky !!
