My engagement ring - much better pictures!

Finally bought a camera so I was able to take better pictures of my ring! I love it and am so excited!!!

The specs are: GIA certified. Round Brilliant. 2.6 carats. 8.97 x 9.05 x 5.33mm. VS2. Excellent polish, symmetry. Very Good cut. H color.

It is a little spready, meaning it's a shallower cut and therefore looks bigger than it is. It's measurements are more in line with a 3 carat. However I did the HCA on pricescope before we bought it and it came up as a 1.6 so the shallower cut really did not take away from the sparkle! I am very very happy with it!

I saw how big your diamond was in the blurry previous pictures you posted - NOW it looks alive and absolutely stunning! I love the baguette accents on the side of the ring! If I ever get a big'un like you or Swanky, I would want it to be a solitaire (with small side stones to add brilliance) because the stone in its sheer massive size can (and should) surely stand alone! I love it! Did I say that already?? And yes, please do tell us more!

Thank you all!!! It really is my dream ring (and man!) The stone and setting was purchased from a local jeweler who is good friends with my fiance. It's hard to tell from the pictures but the ring is set in a high cathedral setting. I will try to post better pictures of the setting so you can see what I am talking about. Even through the ring is set high, it doesn't bother me at all. I've been wearing it every day since I received it!
