Hi fellow TPFers! So earlier today I noticed that my NF MM DE straps are cracking. I don't know how to create a poll, so here are the options what I've been thinking:

1) Let them repair my NF and try to fall in love with it again
2) Exchange for a NF Mono MM
3) Exchange for a Delightful MM

I am aware that they might not let me exchange, but I'm willing to try. I already called the customer service and he said to bring in my LV so they would take a look. He didn't say anything when I asked about the exchange, but I think I can make it happen since he didn't deny the option right away. In Finland there is a very strict law when it comes to protecting customers, so I am quite sure they can make me happy.

I'm aware too that my cracking isn't that bad yet but it's something that I won't put up with. The other strap is just fine and I don't think that it should wrinkle and crack because my NF is only three months old. I will try my best capturing the crack and upload it here asap!

I think it's part of the texture you have with the wear like the patina in the mono

It's a matter of personal taste, if you can live with it or not because I think that even if you exchange it sooner or later it would happen again

I have the de and I think it's the best NF :)

what do you normally carry in your bag?

wallet, keys, a small makeup case, agenda, iphone and sometimes a magazine or a paperback book etc. I haven't carried anything else heavy there. I don't abuse her and I have stored her sitting in her dustbag when not in use. I'm upset.

Go to LV and they may repair it for you. My NF DE is in Paris for repair at the moment. The leather at to top of the bag is broken, looked very bad and it was no question for my SA. My NF is about 1 year old now and I am very careful with my bags.

I would exchange for a Mono NF or a Delightful MM..
Love the look of the DE NF but would never own one because of those darn cracking straps.

I somehow thought it wouldn't happen to me.. :D And for the record my NF is MIF and it's manufactured in the end of 2012. So it really doesn't matter where the bag is made.
