if the vintage you were looking out came out lesser than the phone, i think, in terms of value, owning a premium designer purse still costs more.... technology always gets replaced by NEWER technology, but chanel is simply a timeless classic.

personally, i think chanel or any other big names is considered too expensive for a girl that age. I grew up saving for all of my things/expenses (accessories, purses, friends' birthdays, etc.), and i'm not talking about $100/week allowance either. I just save whatever i have left over after transportation and such. It's better to earn towards it in my opinion, of course, not in an academic way. I wouldn't want my future daughter/son to only get good grades because they will get grand rewards =p
