Hello everyone,

I normally hang out in the LV forum but I've lost my love of handbags and have now turned to jewelry as my new obsession. I like to introduce my new ring, here are the specs:

- 8x8mm cushion cut natural amethyst
- 36 x 1pt, H, SI brilliant cut diamonds
- 18ct white gold

I had this custom made by a highly reputable independent jeweler as a 25th birthday present to myself. The diamonds aren't the best but they are so small there was no point in getting higher grade ones. I've had it for about a month now so please ignore the small scratches. Enjoy!

Very, very beautiful! Just be careful that you don't get any nicks on the facets of your amethyst. I am speaking from experience, although, my ring was worn as an every day ring and the stone was rather large, too.

That color is gorgeous! That style is very popular right now, but I've always loved it. I looooove the color, though. :drool: It's so rich looking, and looks sparkly as well.

Don't worry about the bling, as long as the diamonds show nice, there's no reason to have VVS stones. No one's going to inspect them with a loupe. :p SI is what I would get.
