With the help of a few girls, I was able to authenticate this Michael Kors Astor Satchel. The seller was listing it at $75 OBO, so i decided an inquiry wouldn't hurt. It has a little discoloration on the side which you would never notice unless you were there when it happened! I offered her $50 and she accepted. We met at a deli, and she explained that she was able to clean most of it, but she was so upset that she no longer saw the bag the same. Her boyfriend went out and bought her a new one, and she had no more need for this one. At first, I wasn't expecting much, but I was sooo surprised how good this looked! These pictures don't to it justice! I have a couple more purchases coming up and I'll post them here once I get them. Thanks to the girls at this forum, I am able to buy such beautiful things. Thank you!

I offered her $50 fully intending to go higher and she took it! The posting had been for 20+ days so maybe she didn't get any offers at all? Attache more pics looking all pretty and zipped.

Wow! 50 dollars!! WHAT A STTEAL!! That bag originally retailed for 398.00!! Did you know that?? It is a an oldie but goodie. I love pretty much all of the Astor models. And I love that soft leather. Seems everyone is going Saffiano leather these days. I haven't tried it yet. Even my Haliltons are in the soft pebbled leather. I am so used to regular leather, I am not sure I'd like or know how to maintain this Saffiano, but it must be great because it is all the rage these days, so I am going to break down and try it soon, that's if I can find one that I have to have,

No, I didn't. I had a hard time looking for a description. I intended to use this as a purse I could just plop anywhere and not worry, but now that you mention that, I think I'm going to scratch that!
Yes, take care of it. People don't realize what an investment these bags are. Even in not so perfect condition, ( which I think it looks great!) you could easily get 150.00 for it on ebay right now! . And the better shape it 's in, all the better. When you get tired of it down the road, you could easily turn around and sell that for 150.00 , and get another one!! Make sure you don't lose the charm!
