my classic chanel please help

I know I posted this on the seller watch but I need help today and this is the best place to catch you gals. I won this chanel on ebay yesterday and now i need reassurance on its authenticity. loren, I'm concerned that you might have purchased a fake. The "notch" on the gold clasp doesn't look right, and the quilting doesn't look quite right either: each diamond should be the same length on all four sides. Here's a good guide to spotting authentic/fake Chanels:
