My Chanel off to repair

Hey!
Well my Chanel Reporter had a couple of marks. Nothing big and you could barely see it but it bothered me knowing it was there. I sent my bag to Chanel for repair. I know they say 6-8 weeks. For anyone that has done this, is this an accurate estimation? I want my bag!

I don't know how long it takes for fixing the leather marks, but I sent my baby cabas for fixing the stitching and they have it back for me and it's been less than 2 weeks. But I presume fixing leather takes longer.
