My BRAND new baby cabas has gone apart in some stitches..

Hi--I just saw your post. Some stitching came out of mine in the first week of wearing it, too. I bought it at NM, but they don't have any more to replace it with, so I have to have it repaired.

Stitching is pretty easy to repair, a reputable leather worker or shoemaker should be able to fix it for you. Check around your area and see if that can be done. It may solve your shipping dilemma too.

major rant...

my stiching came apart after a week of normal use! i know that repairing by chanel will take forever and they won't have any baby cabas left to replace, so i ended up tying a knot on it so it would stop unravelling.

ARGH!!!

i can't believe how bad the quality of the baby cabas is after experiencing it myself and hearing so many stories from others about the diamond stitch! you would think something as simple as stitching would be perfect on a $2000 bag!
