My DH's colleague asked him one day what's my shoe size. He said 5/5.5. When he asked why, his colleague said that his wife was selling a blue Tory Burch flat at a very cheap price! 70% off. The colleague's wife works in a retail stores group of companies who operates bloomies, gucci, jimmy choo and other high end brands here in uae. They always get a chance to go to warehouse sales and i think that's where she got the shoes.

Since the flats were really cheap, there were some flaws. The gold medallion was in great condition - no scratch or anything, still very shiny and all. The sole was perfect too. Never used! But the leather was faded in some areas - it bothered me a lot even when i first saw and tried it on but we still bought it.

Knowing i am too OC, i started googling ways to restore the color of the shoes the fastest and cheapest way. I wanted to bring the shoes to LMB to have the leather restored but I am concerned it might be a bit expensive & will break the thought that i got the shoes at a very cheap price plus they said it can take up to 3 weeks to get repaired so i researched more.

I read from the TB site that they recommend Meltonian to be used to clean / condition their leather shoes. I went on the Meltonian website and found out that they have colored shoe cream / polishes and sprays. Luckily i found a shoe repair shop who sells them! Thanks to google! I sent them an email and they confirm they have some in blue (in different shades of blue infact). I was too excited! DH and i went to the store last night to get the shoe polish.

When we got home I immediately do what I had to do and now I am about to reveal the transformation of my revas. I am soooo happy! :) i got the cream for only about $5!!!

@mmaarry: they are comfy. My first pair was more uncomfortable, i had to break them in for a while but after that all is good.

Oh wow!! What a difference the polish made! I love this color so much. It looks like a Chanel bag from 10C called Blue Roi that so many wish they had. What is this color called by Tory? Congrats on such a great deal!!!
