My BF thinks the Tiffany SS DBTY is a waste of money

I've never seen Swarovski CZ before, but their crystals are beautiful and high quality. However, it doesn't compare to a Tiffany diamond. 07 is a good size.
I have the 0.05 and it's teensy, but still very sparkly.
I think the 0.03 is too small, personally. The bezel on that is huge, which looks kind of strange IMHO.
Fred Meyers is selling them set in white gold. My friend has a pair of Swarovski CZ studs and they're super sparkly and pretty. I also get an employee discount. But nothing beats a Tiffany diamond!!
Yeah, that was my BFs argument. He said it's a waste of money to spend on something you can't even tell what it is unless you're close up lol But ultimately, he wants whatever is going to make me happy. I told him a rose gold .17 would make me happy if he paid the difference

SS DBTY has too much metal around the diamond.
YG or Plat DBTY is more delicate...
omg - my hubby says the same thing. Im saving for the 07 SS dbty from tiffanys. He said he will get me another version but I still want the Tiffany's! He said u can get bigger for your buck which is true but I wont rest till I have my beloved Tiffany version! I got mad at him cos I said no way I want the dbty when I have collected enough cash. He wants to get me something else with my saved up cash. he better not! Like today I put on layby (layaway) was just cz but it was quite big and so sparkly, was a 4 claw setting and matching earrings. Not expensive. But I still will eventually get the dbty!
Yeah, but I love the DBTY style with the stationary bezel. I also want the chain to be able to match my Tiffany chain with my filigree heart because I plan on layering. I don't want anything huge and flashy anyways!
Yes its the same chain true. haha same Im not a big diamond wearer. Maybe if I could afford then would be different?

I am getting a $800+ vacation check with which I can spend whatever I want with. I just barely got all my medical bills paid off and all I have left are credit card bills which are almost paid off themselves. I'm buying for myself but trying not to spend all of it at once. If I get the .07 DBTY in SS I would have a hard time allowing myself to spend anymore on jewelry. I still want the 1837 hoops and some Pandora beads :shame: That would basically be my whole vacation check gone!
I think you should focus on one good piece instead of spreading yourself thin. Pandora just does not Compare to a Tiffany diamond. I love Swarovski but again it does not at all compare to a true diamond. The 1837 hoops will
