Hello bag enthusiasts I'm posting for two reasons. First, to show off my beautiful new Marshmallow bag!! I have a couple LVs from back in the early 00s (monogram multicolore) but this was the first LV I've seen in at least a decade that really got my attention. I was so excited to pick up some extra work so I could finally justify buying it! Staring at it on my desk will make all of those extra hours worth it :)

But the second reason I'm posting here is that this is the lightest-color bag I have, and it's the only leather LV I have. I've seen other posts on PF over the years of people showing that their bags rubbing against their clothing, like dark jeans, caused color transfer onto the bag. I have that fear in the back of my mind so I just wanted to know any tips for avoiding that- Does that tend to happen more with newer clothing that hasn't been washed yet? I want to keep her looking pristine for years to come and can't find much on Google. Thanks so much!

Try to avoid dark denim, especially new dark denim. Wipe it with a non abrasive dry cloth especially after you wear it with dark colors. If you see a stain, wipe it off immediately. Leather cleaner should get out any other marks and whatnot from day to day life…

I would also avoid dark shirts and would only wear it with very light colors. I experienced color transfer and learned it the hard way. And it‘s almost impossible to remove stains, there will always remain a shadow of the stain. But it‘s a very beautiful bag and I really regret that I missed it!
