Hi Ladies - my bday was coming up, and everytime it does, I get an urge to buy something peridot (in addition to being an August baby, I also LOVE light green - spring green, avocado, kiwi, honeydew, puke green... love it ALL!).
This year I was hankering for something modest, green and sparkly on my finger. I decided I wanted something small enough to wear to work without getting stares but still sparkly and feminine. I usually like more unusual things, but many peridot rings I saw were too "regular" for my taste. Decided to stick with yellow gold (rather than white gold or silver) because I really think peridot looks better with yellow gold. Also decided on a smallish budget of < $200 - if I didn't find one that fit my taste and budget, I wasn't going to be too sad about it.
I ended up ordering this one - I like the combo w/ the brown topaz, the fact that it's small but looks bigger b/c of the halo, is not too in your face, and is a pretty green color (the colors are slightly dull in the pics - took them w/ my iphone in the car).
What do you ladies think? How much would you pay for this?
