Last Saturday I gave birth to my beautiful baby girl Josie Helena. DH surprised me with this gorgeous ring to celebrate her birth. (I told him not to ge me anything!!) It has great sentimental value because the center stone was my grandmother's (she passed away one year ago).

omg, that is gorgeous, faith! i love it. and i love that your husband had your grandmother's stone placed in a new setting so you can wear it everyday.

i had my grandmother's stone put in my e-ring a few years ago, but ever since my mom gave me her pear ring a few months ago, i wear that solely everyday now. since my e-ring was not my original ring, i want to have my grandmother's stone removed and put in a pendant to wear around my neck, something that i most likely will wear everyday.

i love that. keeps it in the family and someday your beautiful daughter will inherit it, as well.
