As much as I love my bag collection, I had given very little thought to what goes in them. I had a wallet or two and a wristlet or two. But I've never been matchy matchy ... until now. I got bitten by an accessory bug while looking at everyone's great accessories in the What's in your Coach Bag? thread -- and now I can't stop!

It started with this Gunmetal Saffiano Soft Wallet that I got at Macy's. I thought that it might be a pretty good match for my Sadie Saffiano Deep Quartz and Black bag. Turned out, it's a great match:

Even the colors on the insides match:

And then came FOS.

So, I ordered the Darcy Leather Soft Wallet in Persimmon to match the Waverly Hearts wristlet that DH got for me for Valentine's Day:

Yeah, I love having nice accessories in my bags, but I cannot be matchy matchy, because I switch bags around too much. Actually, I don't even have a Coach accessory (I'm looking). Generally I have my Ralph Lauren wallet, a Michael Kors business card case, a DKNY case to hold my portable hotspot, a Michael Kors makeup bag, and my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is in its own Samsung flip case. I might add, I have found them all at bargain prices at the usual places (Marshalls, TJ's, Lord &Taylor and even occasionally on eBay).

A guy I know was shocked (shocked!) the other day when I told him I switched bags every day. I explained to him that my big handbag was filled with a lot of little bags, and every night I unload them and put the little bags in a bag I hang on a door knob, ready to fill the next day's bag.

So, then I ordered the Legacy Two Tone Zippy wallet in Light Khaki and Deep Port to go with my Medium Skinny in those same colors as well as a small wristlet in Deep Port that I had picked up at Macy's:

Wow, it sounds like you've got some nice accessories -- and to get them at bargain prices makes them even better.

That's really funny about your conversation with the guy you know. It's kind of a ritual -- changing bags. My husband is used to me trying to figure out the perfect handbag to go with my outfit and then the changing of the accessories.

And finally, the one that I was most excited about. I spotted the Legacy Donnegal Print Large Wristlet on FOS and thought, hmmm, that looks like it might be nice with my new Two Tone Python Small Sadie. I knew it was slightly different and was fabric, but I took the chance anyway. And I'm thrilled that I did:

I love all of your accessories! I have a deep quartz Madeline and the gunmetal soft wallet. They are a perfect match! Even though they have different names they are the exact same color. I've been bite by the matching accessory bug too! It's so addictive! :D

Oh, yeah but then there's when you buy that great new handbag and figure out the best outfit that would go with it.
