My 10yr 40+ Collection: From Aldo to Chanel

Having been a long time lurker of PF and now a new member, I’m so excited to show you all my collection.

It’s been curated over the last decade, and it’s grown up with me as I became a professional. From starting out wearing Aldo and DSW when I just graduated school to more recent years of Chanel and Mulberry, this is still just the beginning

I’ll show you each groups of bags one by one below.

My modest premier collection, planning on adding a few more in 2023:


- Mulberry Bayswater in hot pink goat skin. I thought about buying a more classic color. Then I didn’t.


- MCM Milla Tote in deep purple. I really think this brand is underrated, this bag is freaking gorgeous and super functional too



- Valentino tote in light pink pebble leather. My go to work bag, fits up to a 15” laptop and documents


- LV wristlet
- Chanel classic flap in lamb skin GHW



- Chloe Marcie hobo satchel


- Balenciaga brown motocross bag. I feel very icky about having this bag now and don’t wear it anymore given what’s happened. Sad because I just got this bag a few months before all the crazy

My collection of “on-the-rise” / boutique brands:


- Jemma travel bag in black with gold hardware. I don’t travel enough to get enough uses out of this though it’s incredibly functional and scratch resistant


- Arcadia large satchel in beige. I just discovered this Italian brand, and this bag is so gorgeous with its curved bottom and pretty latch


- Dagne Dover Simone satchel in grey. This was in the earlier years of Dagne, and happy to have snatched up one of these limited edition designs. The leather is really supple. I don’t buy from them anymore as their newer styles aren’t for me


- Lo and Sons Pearl crossbody convertible in brown Nappa leather. Very functional bag, doesn’t look as luxe as I would expect for nappa leather


- Beige leather tote with pearl detailing. Bought from a random high end boutique in Tokyo and it’s brandless


- Linjer pink tulip bag, blue doctors bag, and burgundy crossbody

My Furla / Zac Posen / Mansur Gavriel / Ted Baker collection:


- Furla light green satchel. So beautiful, one of my first bags. Very scratch resistant saffiano


- Furla medium grey satchel. Love love love this one. Such a classic silhouette


- Zac Posen cream satchel with pearl side detailing. Picture can’t do this one justice


- Zac Posen small purple pearl crossbody


- Mansur Gavriel pink circle bag. I love this shape even though sometimes it’s impractical when trying to use my SLGs inside


- Ted Baker small pink crossbody. Fun and flirty

- Black Kate Spade satchel, classic triple compartment


- Kate Spade large purple satchel


- Kate Spade burgundy crossbody with pink inner lining


- Kate Spade pink plaid shoulder bag


- Kate Spade pink and orange crossbody. So fun


- Kate Spade large deep orange satchel


- Furla backpack, burgundy pebble leather

My Tory Burch / Ralph Lauren / Dooney collection:


- Tory Burch double zip Robinson tote. Still one of my favorites


- Tory Burch perry tote in burgundy


- Tory Burch Robinson satchel


- Dooney and Bourke vintage green satchel. I bought this for $40 at a thrift store


- Ralph Lauren large camel tote. Definitely a dupe for the Prada tote


- Ralph Lauren Newbury double zip tote in light blue. Also a dupe for Prada


- Kate Spade floral crossbody. I use this to mark our transition to spring

My Coach and Longchamp collection:


- Coach borough bag in black pebbled leather. I remember when this came out and was so excited to snag one. Looks so much more luxe than its price point:


- Coach floral satchel. Just a fun one


- My Longchamps! Large beige, medium burgundy, small black leather

And my “mass retail” bags, when I was just starting out as a professional:


- Aldo pink tote. Also punches above its weight in terms of look


- Ann Taylor beige tote. Anyone else remember these? They only had these for a year and they’re so beautiful and luxe looking


- DSW crochet satchel for fun summer brunches

Oh, I love your Zac Posen bags, especially the purple one. Are those the kind that function as just handbags, or are they the 3-in-1 that can be a backpack? I ordered one once but returned it because it squeaked in a way I knew would drive me crazy. But I love the way they look.

Thank you! they’re some of my favs just to look at. These are the regular handbags, not convertible. I know what you mean about unnecessary squeaking, a dealbreaker for sure
