Mutual transaction cancellation

I have a buyer who mistakenly bought (and paid for) something from me on ebay, but instead of emailing me and asking me to cancel the transaction, she opened a Paypal dispute for "item not received." Is there any way I can still do a mutual transaction cancellation? I just don't want this to count against me as a seller. This has never happened to me before. Please help!

You haven't ship the item yet, correct? You can just refund the buyer through paypal and still do a mutual cancellation on the aution to get your listing fees back.

Just be sure the buyer agrees to the mutual?? Then you can both close the PP dispute.
