To fix: Don't pull it apart, that weakens the ring. Instead, twist one end away from you, and one end towards you with pliers. [so it WONT make a c shape] But don't put the pliers directly to the ring, put a piece of cloth/fabric so you dont dent the ring! Squeeze the two parts together, and then twist them back. Hope that makes sense! But whatever you do, don't pull it apart side to side! The ring will snap!
also, there's a lil t-shaped thing on the inside of the ring that held it in place...make sure the edge isn't rough, otherwise it'll scratch the hell out of the ring...
OI!!! i cant find it...i did a drawing of what the little thing that hold the rings in place...i dont know why the heck MJ just doesn't use solid cast rings....my stam has solid rings, but so many MJ's seem to have these gap-y rings...
