Hi board! I'm trying to figure out if there are separate lines of the same basic product. I'm stalking a wallet online, and there appears to be the same basic zip around in two models.

Cedar Street - black interior, outside pocket PWRU 3868
Grant Street - white interior, no outside pocket WLRU (???) (item number unclear; the original listing had the wrong tag, and the new picture doesn't show the whole tag)

Is the Grant Street made-for-outlet?

Any insight is most welcome.

Thanks!

Cedar Street, Grant Street, etc are not bag models, they are the line. The bags are called, for example, Cedar Street Maise, where Cedar Street is the line and Maise is the style of the bag.

But yes, in this case, Grant Street whatever is made for outlet. The tell tale sign is the item code, which starts with WLRU for this one.

Kate Spade has several different zip around long wallets, Lacey is the most common (in recent years at least). It usually has an exterior slide pocket. You need to know the wallet type to compare products. Neda, Nisha, Laurie, Stacey, Bee, are just a few other wallet types.

The street (or place) name simply designates a run with certain stylistic elements like the leather type, kate spade logo(small spade, large spade, license plate, etc), or zipper pulls. There can be variation within runs and similarity between other runs.

I'd be wary of any seller who puts up a wrong tag with a product.
