Multiple Repairs Question

This is my first time sending in 2 items for repairs at the same time. I sent in a necklace for lengthening and a pair of earrings to be soldered. I received a voicemail today from my local boutique saying my necklace was ready for pick up but nothing about my earrings.
I called them back and the SA said that if the voicemail only mentioned the necklace then the earrings are probably still out for repair. I was assuming they'd both come back at the same time since they went out for repairs on the same day.
Is this normal? Do they come in one at a time sometimes?
I'm starting to get paranoid

That is not a very helpful answer from the SA! I would call the boutique back to ask if they can get a status from the workshop.

No reason to be paranoid, OP... different pieces, different repairs, different timelines. You're good.

ETA: soldering and lengthening are two totally different processes.

Totally normal. I have 3 earrings at the workshop now, all sent at the same time, one was quoted and completed before the other 2 even have quotes back.

I think you're over-worrying of the situation. I've sent 2 pairs of earrings for posts adjustment on 20-Apr and have not heard back till now (which makes the timeline for almost 3 weeks). As of last Friday, SA told me that they only received 1 pair and she's still waiting for the other pair to be received. She hated me making a multiple journey to the store for collection and therefore, will only notify once both earrings are received instead. Hence, from my experience - even for the same service the items are not possibly completed/received at the same time.

Normal. I sent 2 necklaces out to be lengthened at the same time. One came back a week before the other.

Yes because the earrings were purchased over 2 years ago.
