It has been more than a month since I undergone revision Rhinoplasty, face liposuction, thread lifting, chin implant and breast augmentation, all performed by DR.Seo at marble plastic surgery. I really want to share about my experience because i am so happy about the results and i hope my experience helps!
Throw back to few months ago I decided to book a trip to Korea for my procedures. Prior to that, I reached out to 6 plastic surgery clinics in Korea. I liked the surgery plans and confidence of dr seo from marble, i also read positive reviews about his work from forums like sungyesa and purse, that further reinforced my confidence in their clinic.
The consultant is super patient with me during the whole process. I was struggling whether I should do facial contouring or thread lift+chin implant+face lipo. Considering the fact that I am travelling alone, I decided to go for the second option. Everything is settled and forward to the second day of my trip, translator brought me to clinic for CT scan ( which that didn’t happen to the other clinic that did my first nose job!!!)
Surgery day
My surgery was scheduled for 10 am, and I arrived at 9 am to ensure I wouldn't be late. I was so exciting and nervous at the same time, the consultants assisted me during preparations. Also I was able to meet dr.seo last time before my surgery , he went through all the procedures and aftercare details with me. There’s not much to report here as I was under sedation for most of the time.
Pain and recovery
After the surgeries, I woke up in the recovery room with an IV in my arm. The nurse informed me that all surgeries went well as expected. The first thing I felt was my throat was super dry and sore, along with extreme thirst. Unfortunately I was not able to drink water immediately due to the intubation tube used during general anesthesia. I also felt super dizzy. It took two hours for me to fully wake up from anesthesia.
I stayed at the clinic for four hours, clinic’s consultant helped me with the discharge process, explaining post-surgery precautions and scheduling follow-up appointments. I received two weeks prescribed medication. To be honest it’s not as painful as it thought, but that night I threw up twice due to the anesthesia. Also I couldn’t lie down in bed flat because my breast felt so tight. After first night, it felt gradually better and better everyday.
My post-op follow ups happened on Day 1, 2, 5,7 and 14. I saw Dr Seo on every single one of those checkings , combing a a 15 minutes LED treatment for decreasing the swelling. My favourite day was definitely Day 7 when they finally removed the bandages and I had my hair washed during a free session provided my marble!
First few days felt like a decade as I couldn’t go out with all the bruises and swelling, but after day 7 time passed so fast as I was able to go out and tour around Seoul! The nurse helped to remove my stitches on my 7th day and 14th day.
Results
I feel like everything just fits me. Most of the swelling is gone now. For the breast and chin implants dr Seo put in the most appropriate size for me. And I am happy about my nose and face shape! It looks much more defined.
I'm extremely satisfied with the level of personalised care that marble showed , the staff responded so quick with my questions via WhatsApp. Even now I am back to my home country they still follow up constantly . I feel grateful about the results and hope my sharing helps!
