Multicolore question... speedy or Alma?

Hi everyone!
I’ve been wanting to purchase a second hand MC bag. I used to have an alma and regret selling it! I am undecided about the speedy vs Alma. I found a good deal on an Alma but the speedy is so beautiful! One thing I worry about the speedy is that it seems so heavy with all that hardware and you have to unbuckle everytime you want into the purse or into the front pocket. I worry it would Be annoying after a while.
Can you tell me any pros or cons of either bag from your experience?

I have the Speedy MC in Noir. I love it to pieces. I love the process of buckling the top zipper to the side of the bag. So luxe! I don't use the front pocket. I don't find it heavy, but it's also not like an every day bag for me. I wear it to events, not like carrying it around all day. So, it's fine and I love it. It's a step above my other LV bags with the beautiful interior and hardware.

I dont have the alma, but I recently bought the Trouville in Blanc. I like the shape and the front pocket a little better than the alma. I haven't had it long, so I can't say much about it, but no cons as of yet. I only have my pic from Fashionphile for this one.

I found the MC speedy heavy so I did not keep it. I had the black MC Alma however the vachetta base was just too much for me and the design for me was abit awkward however it is beautiful.

Im with Kim on the Trouville. I just got the black MC one and I truly find it to be the perfect bag. Easy to get in and out of, doesnt bump into everything as its a nice shape, not heavy. I recommend looking into it. I actually just used mines today.

I am partial towards Alma (rose ballerine, cannelle and used to have a Cipango gold alma too) but have never purchased one in MC even though I would to. Main reason is the vachetta base and the handles would drive me crazy with the stains.

This isn’t related but a quick question : Anyone using a guitar strap for their speedy? Have seen lots of colourful and exotic ones in Etsy. I have a new classic speedy and I’m going to convert it to a bandouliere with drings on each side. Looking for a funky and edgy straps.
