Mulberry or Chanel Dilemma

Hello. I am trying to pick between this Mulberry bag: http://www.mulberry.com/shop/womens-bags/totes/bayswater-tote-oak-natural-leather-with-brass

and this Chanel WOC: http://www.featherfactor.com/2012/12/bag-review-chanel-wallet-on-chain.html

I love the Chanel, if I were to buy, I'd have to save up until April/May time. The prices are in a similar range, except one is a big Mulberry bag, the other is a small Chanel bag.

I really want a Chanel bag (I don't want the 2.55 flap) and want to buy one before the price goes up again!

However, the Mulberry I could see myself using it more (I'm not too big a fan of the bayswater with flap) on a day to day basis. If I wanted to use it in the rain, will it get ruined/water marks?

What would you pick?

It may not be the most practical bag, but my choice is the WOC. I prefer it to the Mulberry tote.

Hi, i would choose the bag which you will get more use from. I also have been looking at chanel bags and mulberry and will likely go for the mulberry as would get to use it more, liking the Alexa at the minute,enjoy whichever one you get

I have and love both of these bags! I agree with others that you should choose the one you love and will use most. No matter which you choose you'll end up with a great bag!
