Is it the Iris or Amberley review you’d like @Indiana? I can do the Iris, but not Amberley 😘@Mooshooshoo if you feel up to it after all your photographing & posting, do you think you could do one of your fabulous analyses of the Small Amberley please? Of course, no pressure 😉 and maybe this isn’t even the right place?
Not at all.Ohhh yes of course, I mean the small iris! What a wally I am! 🙈
Thank you soo much, Mo. I’m guessing you’re a fan as you have 6!Not at all.
Small iris is 24x21x7cm, so a decent size. Closure is a central magnetic lock on two tabs, with double leather drawstrings at either end, so you can cinch it in. All of mine are made in heavy grain, though plaited handles are smooth calf. The interior is raw suede (smells fabulous), but there is a single zip closing pocket, which is lined in herringbone twill cotton. There is a long leather strap with buckle adjustment, it’s long enough for cross body if you’re slim, maximum length is approx 50cm. The plaited handles can be swapped out, which gives a little versatility to the colours/design. No feet (🙄) so be careful where you put this fat bottomed bag down.
It’s still available from Mulberry, so you should be able to try it. It is virtually square, so is a little chunky. Naughtipidgin has sold some recently, so I think you might still be able to see photographs on her website showing the bag on a mannequin, which might help.Thank you soo much, Mo. I’m guessing you’re a fan as you have 6!
I was a bit concerned about the bag gaping open when stuffed; also the large acreage of inking; and now I’m also wondering if it looks very chunky when worn crossbody.. I need to see it and try it I think.. still tempted though!
