Hi, does anyone have any thoughts or experience of buying a Mulberry bag made with the new Econyl? I can’t seem to find any reviews, can’t view in store, so likely have to buy and have a ‘feel’. Collinil gave me a product to protect nylon, Mulberry’s response was dire, but I can help wondering how you ‘deal’ with obvious dirt, scuffs etc...I’m looking at the Bayswater M Collection £530. Help? Please? Thank you.

I bought mine during the sale late last year. I have the burgundy satchel, key pouch, and medium zip wallet. Seem to hold up just fine. The jacquard material is not very thick but not too thin that it doesn't keep the structure. It feels smooth with a slight texture but not grainy like textured cotton or linen. It does feel like fabric, not plasticky despite the nylon content. It is not shiny at all and the weave appears tight. I sprayed it with Collonil Reloaded and it seems to work, dirt and stains don't really stick, although I haven't had it for too long. The leather trim and the strap is not the best quality, but for the price (on sale), just OK. Can't vouch for the workmanship and how long these will hold up, but the stitching is clean and even. These are Made In China and Vietnam by the way.

Thank you so much. I sent it back in the end. It was the M Bayswater. I just couldn’t find out enough info so it’s good you’ve put this on.
I’ve done a huge turn around and added vintage Louis Vuitton instead. Got a Speedy 30 from the year my daughter was born and a GM Looping for another anniversary. They seem great. Getting the handle replaced on the looping by LV and it’s only £80 and a rivet on the Speedy they are doing for free. Can’t imagine Mulberry doing that . Thanks again. Appreciate you taking the time.

Actually I’ve heard that Mulberry is very good at repairs and you don’t need a receipt (like with LV). I really like both brands though.
