mulberry Araline-python help needed

Hi guys and girls

so I came over this amazing bag, Araline. But dont know enough about the model..I have read some old threads here but that doesent make sense. Some people wrote they got this bag for 50£ on sale..(plain leather though)..while the seller of this preloved is saying she paid €800 and want half. I have not seen it in real yet so dont know much about the condition. But was this bag sold for €800 in 2006?

The nappa leather Araline was £295 in SS/06.......

The purple python leather Araline was from AW/06.

For info, the small Smithfield, in natural snakeskin, in the Early Autumn 2007 catalogue, had an RRP of £695.

Snakeskin bags have always been expensive!
