Movado Watch...Help Needed!

Hello TPF -

Keep or return? I recently purchased a Movado watch online (pictures below). The watch is stainless steel with yellow gold accents on the face. I stopped wearing white gold years ago because I felt yellow gold looks better with my complexion but recently I have been considering a adding a two-toned watch for some variation. With my complexion, do you all think the stainless steel looks okay or should I stick to all gold?

Would love to hear your honest opinions before I get the watch sized.

I do like it a lot. I feel like I want to love it but just a little apprehensive because of the color. Wondering if it will grow on me more with a little time.

I think the steel tone on your skin is flattering! It is higher contrast and a cooler tone. So a different look.

I was definitely going for a different look. It wouldn’t be for daily wear as I mostly wear my Apple watch but like wearing a regular watch from time to time.

I love the two tone Movado on you. I say keep it. It’s more versatile than all stainless steel or all gold/gold-plated.

I think the movado watch looks nice. I have one. It's not my every day watch these days but I think movado is a nice watch at a more affordable price than some of the high end watches people here on the PF talk about. Personally I prefer the quieter look of SS to gold in a watch.

I ended up keeping the watch and got it sized yesterday. It was too pretty to return. Thanks everybody for your help!! Won’t be an everyday watch but it is nice to break up all the gold jewelry I wear on a daily basis plus it really is a good watch for a great price. May add an all gold Movado soon though. I really would like to add to my collection to give my apple watch a well needed break every once in a while.
