hi everyone
my MIL helped me a lot during my postpartum period and I d like to thank her with a nice gift.
I decided to go for a wallet.
She is classy lady and she likes Longchamp bags but I m sure she will fall in love with LV.
I m thinking about sarah wallet, it is classic piece and will last for a long time.
I m in between monogram and reverse canvas. I also like Victorine in monogram but it is very hard to find with gold button.
What do you think that it is best option?
She is 50 and looks younger , like mid 40s. Thank you!

I voted for either the Sarah or victorine. Both are classic, I would not get the reverse (there are also less card slots) but it's pretty bold, even though I love it! I think for a gift for someone who doesn't carry LV yet, monogram is classic and I'd stick with that. Between the two, just depends on how much she carries. I like the victorine (mine has the gold button) but it's definitely smaller than the sarah. I'd choose based on how much she needs room for.

thank you :) it was very hard recovery after birth and she helped so much,
she s amazing.
I m sure she ll love either one from the list I d just like to buy “perfect one”.
I leaning toward reverse canvas since it looks more special to me.
I didn t know it has less card slots, thank you NWGal for information! I thought it is same model only different canvas!

I think any of the wallets would be nice! Do you know what kind of wallet she has currently? I know some people prefer a certain style of wallet for their convenience or ease of use. (ie. a zip wallet, vs button closure, etc.) May want to ask your husband or her family to check what style of wallet she prefers using to help you make your choice.

Congratulations on your baby! So nice that she was able to help you and you're so thoughtful of such a lovely gift!

On a side note, I too have a similar future dilemma, haha. I'll be seeing my mother-in-law next year and I'm thinking about a gift for her. But the last time she gave me a gift, she gave me an Hermes scarf! Really set the bar high! :lol: And she already has many LV items. But I'm glad I have time on my hands to figure something out haha. :P

She loves button closure, she hates zippy style wallets. Currently she has something like sarah - I don t know name of the brand but that s why I decided to go for sarah or victorine, it is not as big as sarah but it is bigger then victorine.

For your future dilemma, maybe
cles for the bag, it would be nice addition to collection of a LV lover and she could style it with different bags.

i voted for something else, before reading most of the responses. I personally love vernis, Epi or empiente for gifts for a more mature/refined person. Not sure if you ever looked at a wallet with chain options. My MIL loves those because it’s light and can use as a wallet or a small evening bag.
