Hi! I’m new here and posted a little while ago in the jewelry box forum. I don’t want to repeat post and be a nuisance, but I probably should have posted here first.

TLDR: I want an anniversary band to go with my 20-year old wedding set (non-Tiffany; asscher cut, trinity setting in platinum). Am looking at the Soleste, embrace 2.2, or an older asscher-cut channel set version that Tiffany no longer makes, as well as a non-T band with asschers.

For too much info, my other thread is here: https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/anniversary-band-or-e-ring-reset-help-me-decide.1022332/

the three Tiffany rings are:

and the non-Tiffany one:

heres what I’m working with. What would you choose? Thanks!

Hi! I would get a full eternity. A “half” eternity is a nice marketing phrase but it is nothing more than a few diamonds in a row.

A true eternity is much more striking and few people actually have it. Also, I love the meaning of a true eternity ring... one love, no beginning, no end. I love the symbolism and it’s perfect for your anniversary.

Congratulations to you!

I hate to be that person, but I think you should try some on. Doesn’t have to be Tiffany, just get an idea if you like the daintier or channel set or whatever. And if you like an eternity with current set or just current e ring. Not sure if you’d be soldering the new bands together but I think a half eternity spinning would drive me absolutely crazy so only full eternity for me.

Thanks. I’m going to go look tomorrow. I did go looking and tried on a few things last week and I figured out that I need a more symmetrical ring, probably on the smaller side.

I’ll go look at how small round diamonds work with the asschers, and whether a channel setting is a good idea or not.

I love your ring! Asscher cuts are beautiful. I like the Tiffany embrace half eternity or the non-Tiffany ring asscher cut stones as a band. How do you think you’d like brilliant diamonds next to the asscher ones? Definitely seems like a good idea to try on some rings first. I vote for a half eternity....although I love the look of a full, as I age I regret not getting a half because of the options for resizing. Good luck!

I would get a full eternity of asschers. I don’t like round brilliant with step cuts.

Get one custom made in the same width or slimmer than your current wedding band. Channel set would look nice with your set.

If you want a Tiffany band I suggest getting an eternity band and wearing it alone, not as a set. Move your three stone to the right hand. I don’t see the Tiffany settings going well with your ring.

Thanks. I think a half eternity will work better for me. It looks like link #3, the Tiffany band that matches my stones, is no longer active, so here’s another one: https://picclick.com/Tiffany-Co-Platinum-Asscher-Cut-Diamond-Half-184082090008.html

this was always the band I thought I was going to get so I think it’s the one to beat. But I will go try something similar to the embrace and soleste bands, as well as maybe a row of princess cut or baguettes or similar, to get a sense of stone shapes and cuts and how well they go with the asschers.

I really love asscher cut diamonds but they’re hard to find!

I wasn’t able to view link #3. It appears to be a Tiffany half eternity asscher cut band? This would be my vote!
