Ok after ferreting around in eBay, bonanza and my order page on BE and BEC managed to put together a LONG list of BE bags I have had over the years and all sold ( Boo hoo, ). Please excuse the written scrawl - does anyone else have a similar list of theirs or am I just very sad with no life, LOL""

Off all these bags only the Black Crash Hug Me newest - one I just bought off a lovely TPFer are in my possession, all the others are scattered across the globe....

I have a spreadsheet with all my current BEs listed so that I can monitor rotation (sad, I know). I delete off a bag if I sell it so I don't have a complete list of every bag I have ever had. In my time I have bought and sold a wine sheen and aubergine sheen MMS Midi, a navy Love Me Mini and a dark grey Love Me Mini, a choc matte Hug Me regular, a taupe EM Oversized, black pebbled and turquoise sheen Hold Mes...gosh, there are probably way more than that but those are the ones that spring to mind.

You are way more organised than me, mine was a scrawled thing whilst I was waiting for cottage pie to cook: realised I'd left off mine a pink Stroke a me midi, a turquoise LM, a MMS Wine sheen and a cobalt Sthg. Brings to mind the Carrie Bradshaw comment" you mean I speak $40k on shoes.". I probably could have got a borking with what I spent on that lot, LOL. I'm very jealous of the size of your EM Taupe oversized, how big was oversized- I remember the EM was big to start with, 35-40cm long?

Prada, I think it's a great thing to keep an inventory of the bags, I'm a bit lazy..I seem to regognise a few bags on your list..lol. Guess VanB and I could be called 'regulars' by you!

I also have the EM in oversized..good size too..unfortunately my Tan matte is snoring in the cupboard, since I cant do shoulderbags..;)

If ever you want to offload your EM in at an Matte you can direct it my way...... I love that style!

There are hardly any BE bags for sale on Bonanza for some time now. Keep seeing the same Whisper To Me's Guess everyone is holding on for dear life to bags in their possession, The two BECs I own I will never sell

I know, I was lucky to get VanBods black Crash Hug Me which was a BEC (caramel lining, new style messenger strap) off bonanza then dithered around for a few days and bought her black pebbled Rock Me as well. I sold my 2 previous RMs in root and Shark grey years ago but probably didn't give them long enough to break in as when I sold them they still looked a bit boxy... I love it that the one I have now is that gorgeous pebbled leather and the straps and bag have started to puddle....I figured there won't be a RM coming up soon on Bonanza anyway, no BE bags at all on eBay......

Yes thank you, wore it Friday for my gym/shopping errands in town, then all weekend including a birthday party for my daughter at a tropical bird sanctuary! The parrots and cockatoos,seems quite partial to the shiny bits on my RM but luckily it survived intact, by the end of the party was glad I had a big bag as I ended up carrying daughters coat, a few presents and her souvenir picture as well....

I must admit my previous Rms I probably would have kept if I'd imagined them broken in and smooshy - my old root pebbled RM in particular seems like it would have taken forever to break in and I sold it - regretting that now,

Incidentally you may know this- there seems to be a variety of HW on the Rock Mes - my root one had a hook thingy where the hanging BE tags fix to, but I've seen several - inc the one I bought from you - that just have the chainy thing and no hook ( like on the Midi... ) did they start out at one design and change or were some be spoked, I'm curious??

P, there was a change in the hardware. I think originally the midi style was supposed to have the dogleash hook and the large bag the chain but eventually they all seemed to end up with the same hardware.

Thank you, it's been bugging me (ok, I really should get out more, LOL,,!!). I think my RMs were early ones, bought off Be when they first launched. I'm guessing you're-new-to-me was a newer one as the orig website pic the model is carrying the one with the hooky clip thing ( ok, bad description by me!)....

So far my RM has been my go to bag for last 5 days - today it's been to town, for coffee then with my water bottle for gym inside, then a trip to Boots to buy nail polish and cuticle cream, then home for school run and after school swimming lesson - and ended up in park with DDs cuddly bunny inside ( ears poking out of top of bag). Love that it can. Ontario all manner of my daily crap and still look stylish. It's weird because last time I had one it just didn't work for me at all but whether it's the softer leather, broken in, or the fact it's black and goes with everything I've actually grabbed it first in the mornings!

BTW I'm glad you kept your Stroke Me tan ( on other thread,) and are rediscovering it. It's such a simple stylish bag and not bulky to carry...

Yep, light as a feather. And now that I have started to wear it, it is getting that lovely sheen on the leather. I don't think the previous owner had worn it much at all. It has some panels that are smoother than others but I just love it. I have a Hold Me in the original tan matte too - that was my second BE bag and will never leave me.

I was just reading your comments and thinking it's such a shame -IMHO - that a lot of the newer BE bags ended up with buckles, straps, satchel styles. BE logos, nameplates etc. Because actually the thing that attracted me to BE initially were they were no logo, well made bags that just relied on the quality of the leather and a simple shape.... As soon as BE started doing stachels - because at one stage, PS, Mulberry and even New Look/ primark started doing satchels BE started doing them.... I really miss the older styles like LM and TME and TMA, very simple and easy to wear. I guess because a lot of my fave bags are Hermes and styles like the picotin and GAo are also very minimal... I will wear my newer sale BE bags like covet me and Paris but I guess ultimately the older styles will get rarer and rarer...

Yes, I am still the proud owner of the mottled gold TME. I also had the orange maxi Hold Me but that is now in a new home. All the bags I have bought from you and Van Bod have been in excellent condition.
