Most expensive bag you ever bought online?

Retail price would be my oil slick Antigona $2500. But I paid for $1350 on sale.
Actual price I paid would be my Balenciaga metallic edge mini-city $1885.
Next my The Row double circle handbag for $1700.
I don't live near the high end boutiques, so buying online is generally myonly option. I do make sure to buy from stores where I can do a return if I need to. I had seen the mini-city in person in a boutique while on a work trip a few months earlier - different colorway, but I knew what I was getting.

I never done super expensive bags online, I would prefer to buy it through store and inspect from their. However that might change with Faure Le Page. I haven’t done buying bags at LV online yet either. But at least they offer to pick up in store. The most expensive bag I ever bought online is MCM backpack. Twice in different years. I been happy with the bags.
Bought a cream colored Bvlgari bag online because 1) the store wanted a deposit to transfer in the bag which i wasn't interested in doing &
2) the bag could be returned for a full refund if bought online, not sure if that is the case w bags bought in store.
I like it a lot, however it is more cream or warmer white, rather than the cool stark white depicted online & i would have preferred the cooler white.

My YSL. Think it was Katie bag around $2200.. I purchased at large retailer that I could return/exchange if it arrived damaged
$6000. The transaction went perfectly. I think experience for new bags will depend on the brand and experience for preloved will depend on the platform and the seller. So, I don’t know there is one “story” to online selling.
