I'm going to have to say when i was watching a movie on tv with my dad, and a Viagra commercial came on, the one where they sing like "viva viagra" or something, and i was trying so hard not to laugh, cause it had to be one of the silliest commercials i'd ever seen. yep. definitely akward.
anybody else have any terribly awkward moments?

i think i'd get in trouble for posting details. let's just say my mother-in-law walked in on something that I much prefer she didn't see.

Oh, I just had one a few nights ago.

I was at work, I work at Melbourne Airport.

So I was looking at this guys passport and he had short shaved hair. In the passport photo he had shoulder length hair wavy rocker type hairstyle. It looked as if the photo was taken quite a few years ago.

I made a joke and said, "You had alot more hair back then, haha"

And he said, "Yeah, I had cancer and lost all my hair."

I almost died. I wanted the ground to swallow me up and eat me whole. I felt soooooo bad.

I apologised profusly, but he was cool, he was laughing and saying dont worry.

But that was VERY akward to say the least.

I don't have one specific...I've just had a lot of awkward moments, period!!!

Although trying to pick one out right now isn't working so well...I'll have to come back when I think of a couple!

I had just met my bf's married friends at their home. Their very large dog, possibly a young mastiff walked up to me and nuzzled my crotch!

Maybe my crotch was eye level? Was something brewing down there, WTH!? OMG?! Everyone looked mortified. Quickly recovering, I quipped:

"So, I guess HE'S a male!" :P

Thank goodness that melted the ice. For a while after that I would freeze whenever I saw a dog with their snout at crotch level. :sweatdrop:

Hoo boy I've had a few...I can think of the summer after I graduated college and was dating this really awesome guy...I really thought he was going to be The One. Anyway, he was still living with his folks and we were in his room messing around and his Mom knocked on the door. I ducked behind the bed; she knew I was there but I couldn't get my shirt back on fast enough, eek.

Does my whole teenage years count ? I had a really large chest at a young age and it caused so many awkward moments i don't even want to get in to any of the horrible details

falling on my butt while bowling in front of my BF's friends..that i had just met that night.

also - when BF's dad walked in on us just snuggling on the bed - he made some sort of awkward excuse and got out of there so fast... we were only 17/18 then too.

I have quite a few, but this one stands out. I was doing the oral part of a French proficiency exam, and I misread one word in the article I was suppse to read and speak about and screwed the whole thing up. Instead of talking about how clothing reflects personality, I started talking about social class stereotypes. Whoops.

A group interview. I had to fill out this long questionairre. It was all these yes & no questions which you had to write yes or no. They ask somewhere in the middle of this obnoxious form, Sex which they wanted you to answer male or female.

They called us all in this room for screening. The screener points out in front of everyone, that I answered the sex question, yes! I was so embarrassed & made them prove to me I actually answered it that way. I did! I guess that's better than saying no.
