More setting help...

My mother has a 3 carat round-brilliant low colored diamond she would like to set in a ring but she does not want it to look bridal (she has wedding rings.) Any ideas on designers that make settings that might be right for this type of stone? Also, with a warm stone would you try to enhance the yellow-ness or not? I think it's around K, not yellow enough to be fancy. Thanks all!

Maybe a bezel set ring? Check out James Meyer...I love his stuff! K really isn't that low...I think it's more of a creamy white if it's graded correctly. I wouldn't try to enhance the yellow, personally.

His stuff is pretty, but it specifically says in the FAQs that he will not use a customer's stone so that won't work. Any other ideas?

Perhaps setting it more like a cocktail ring w/ colored side stones might work.

I like Leon Mege's work....he has some pretty rings (non-wedding) on his website....might give you some ideas
