Hello! I am looking to purchase the Montsouris (regular size) backpack in the black epreinte leather. Just wondering you find that the bag is inconvenient to get things in and out? Thanks!
Montsouris owners, how easy is it to get in and out of the bag?

It's not difficult. The flap has a magnetic closure and there is an additional drawstring under that. Often I don't even close the drawstring. I wear mine mostly over one shoulder rather than as a backpack, but it works well either way.
I’ve had mine for around 2 years & it’s one of my most used bags! Once you get the hang of the opening it’s not very difficult to use.

I am leaning toward the black epreinte leather. Glad to hear that you still use yours regularly! Does it hold a lot? I carry too many things, lol.
I’ll typically carry my Victorine wallet, mini Pochette, sunglasses in a large case, keys, phone, and that’s it. There’s room for more if you want to pack it full. It can get a bit heavy, though.

Are you ever concerned things will fall out of the bag? I recently got it and am struggling with the fear that small items such as keys will slip out when I’m swinging the bag from my back to get access to it.
my Drawstring doesn’t tight really well either, I wonder if it’ll be easier once the leather loosens.
I ended up getting a different bag, the Josh backpack, I decided I needed something a little taller and since it zips up, I don't have to worry about small items slipping out.
It’s pretty secure for me once I cinch it shut and engage the magnet, so that has not been a concern for me. I don’t really carry anything small & loose, though. I like to use wristlets to organize my stuff!
